Nepal IPO guide

Did you get the IPO? Check in a minute.

After an issue closes, allotment decides who gets shares. There are two official ways to check your result — the CDSC IPO result site and Meroshare. Both are free and quick.

Method 1 · fastest

CDSC IPO result site

  1. Open the CDSC IPO result site

Go to iporesult.cdsc.com.np, CDSC's official result page.

  2. Choose the company

Select the issue you applied for from the company list.

  3. Enter your BOID

Type your 16-digit BOID — your Demat account number.

  4. Complete the check and view

Fill in the verification code and click to view the result.

  5. Read your result

The page tells you whether you were allotted shares and, if so, how many.

Method 2

Through Meroshare

  1. Log in to Meroshare

Sign in with your DP, username and password.

  2. Open the application report

Go to My ASBA, then Application Report.

  3. Find the issue

Open the issue you applied for to see its details.

  4. Check the status

The status shows whether you were allotted and the number of units.

Need your BOID? It's the 16-digit number shown in Meroshare — see BOID in the glossary.

Allotted

Shares go to your Demat.

The allotted amount is taken from your blocked funds and the shares are credited to your Demat account. Once the company lists, you can sell through your broker — follow it on NEPSE today.

Not allotted

Your money is unblocked.

Under ASBA the amount was only blocked, never debited. It is released back to your available balance — nothing is lost, and you can apply for the next issue.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Where can I check my IPO result in Nepal?

In two official places: the CDSC IPO result website (iporesult.cdsc.com.np), where you choose the company and enter your BOID, and Meroshare under My ASBA → Application Report. Both show whether you were allotted shares.

What is a BOID?

BOID (Beneficial Owner ID) is the 16-digit number of your Demat account. You need it to check IPO results on the CDSC site. You can find it in Meroshare or on your Demat account documents.

When is the IPO result published?

Allotment takes place after the issue closes; the timing depends on the issue manager and the number of applications. Watch the issue manager's notice, or the issue's page in our IPO calendar where an allotment date has been announced.

What happens to my money if I am not allotted?

Nothing is lost. Under ASBA the amount was only blocked in your bank, not debited. If you are not allotted, or are allotted fewer units, the unused amount is unblocked.

I was allotted — where are my shares?

Allotted shares are credited to your Demat account and appear in Meroshare under your holdings. Once the company lists on NEPSE, you can sell them through your broker.
